Friday April 18th    Allin KHG will be having the opening reception for his art show in which Christophe was a model. It is yet unknown if the photos of Christophe will be in the show, but confirmed they will be in the book.

Here is the info. from Allin's site:  Defects And Deficiencies is a portrait series that involved taking 3 different portraits of each subject with three different devices (Game Boy Camera, Smartphone, and Digital Camera). Then modifying images each in a specific manner. Though the pictures start out essentially the same the modification causes differences to be magnified while intensifying the defects and deficiencies of each process. And then celebrates them for their beauty. The same way we humans start out pretty much the same. Some are just better than others at celebrating the beauty in the defects and deficiencies they acquire as they go through life. It is who and what you are. It is what separates you from other humans. In doing this body of work I was doing just that. I was criticized for my pictures of people. So I did a collection that was all portraits. And made them into better pictures. The show will feature 5 of the 26 sets of images. The show will be located in the Project Space at IAO (the back room). This event will be happening during the Film Row walk. There is no charge for admission, but please consider joining or renewing your membership to IAO.Friday April 18thFrom 6pm until 9pm   @Individual Artists of Oklahoma    706 W.
