Come watch the Superbowl on the BIG Screen!

Since my drummer is a sportsball guy, we're going to be watching the Superbowl on our giant theater screen. Doors open about 4:30pm. Superbowl is sceduled to start at 5:30pm.

This event is free. Just bring some food or drinks for the potluck.

Super Bowl LVIII will be played by the Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers.

The Patrick Mahomes-quarterbacked Chiefs punched their ticket to their fourth Super Bowl in five years by defeating the Baltimore Ravens, 17-10, in the AFC Championship Game. The 49ers. with quarterback Brock Purdy, earned their spot by defeating the Detroit Lions in the NFC Championship Game, 34-31.

Come Super Bowl LVIIII game day, the AFC champs, the Chiefs, will be the home team, while the NFC representative, the 49ers, will be the road team. (The two conferences take turns enjoying Super Bowl home-team honors.)

With the Chiefs and 49ers set for The Big Game, Super Bowl LVIII will represent a rematch of Super Bowl LIV. In Super Bowl LIV, it was the Chiefs who came away with the Vince Lombardi Trophy. They beat the 49ers, 31-20.

The Chiefs are in search of their fourth overall Super Bowl win. The 49ers are chasing their franchise's sixth Super Bowl win -- a number that would tie the team with the Pittsburgh Steelers and New England Patriots for the most Super Bowl wins of all time.

Super Bowl LVIII will be played at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada. The 65,000-seat Allegiant Stadium has been the home of the Las Vegas Raiders since opening before the start of the 2020 NFL Season. Super Bowl LVIII will be the first Super Bowl hosted at Allegiant Stadium – and in Las Vegas. Among Super Bowl host cities, Miami, Florida, is No. 1, having hosted The Big Game 11 times.

The multiple GRAMMY® Award-winning artist Usher will perform during the Apple Music Super Bowl LVIII Halftime Show at Allegiant Stadium.

"It's an honor of a lifetime to finally check a Super Bowl performance off my bucket list. I can't wait to bring the world a show unlike anything else they've seen from me before," Usher said in a statement.

Jim Nantz, Tony Romo, and Tracy Wolfson will call Super Bowl LVIII for NFL on CBS. The trio is heard each week of the regular season on the NFL on CBS marquee game, as well as throughout the AFC playoffs. With Super Bowl LVIII, Nantz, Romo, and Wolfson will team for their third Super Bowl call.
